Getting started

From signup to a storefront that's ready to sell.

A quick tour of the path from a new store to your first sale.

1. Create your store

Sign up and you get a store on a Cartisto subdomain immediately, with a default theme installed. You can connect your own custom domain later.

2. Add your catalog

Create products with prices, images, variants (size/color), and inventory. Group them into categories so shoppers can browse. You can also import an existing catalog from another platform.

3. Make it yours

Open the theme customizer to set your logo, colors, fonts, and homepage sections — all with live preview. See Themes & customization.

4. Set up money & shipping

Connect a payment gateway, define shipping zones and rates, and configure taxes. Checkout is built-in and secure — you’re configuring how you get paid, not building the checkout itself.

5. Go live

Point your domain at the store, do a test order, and open for business. Orders flow into your dashboard where you fulfill, refund, and track them.

Tip

You don’t need a developer to start Everything above is dashboard-driven. Bring in a theme developer only when you want a custom design beyond what the customizer offers.
