AI store manager

An AI assistant that can actually run store tasks — with you in control of how much it does on its own.

Cartisto’s AI store manager isn’t a chatbot bolted on the side — it can read your store and do things in it (create a coupon, tidy a product, draft a campaign) through the same guarded actions you’d use by hand. You stay in control of how much it’s allowed to do without asking. It lives in the AI section of the dashboard.

Bring your own AI key

The assistant runs on your AI provider account, so you control the model and the cost. Connect a key for any of:

Provider Default model
Anthropic (Claude) claude-sonnet-5
OpenAI gpt-5
Zhipu (GLM) glm-4.6
Google (Gemini) gemini-2.5-flash

Add your key under the AI section’s provider settings. It’s stored encrypted and used only for your store.

You decide how much it can do

Every action runs under an autonomy level you set:

  • Advisory — it only suggests; nothing changes until you do it.
  • Approve each — it proposes a change and waits for your approve before applying it.
  • Auto (safe) — it applies reversible, low-risk changes on its own, and still asks for anything sensitive.

On top of that, you can grant per-tool trust (“auto-apply changes like this”) for a specific kind of reversible action you’ve come to trust — without raising the level for everything.

Routines

Save a task the assistant does well as a routine and run it on demand or on a schedule — a weekly “flag products low on stock”, a “draft next week’s campaign”, and so on. Create, edit, and run routines from the AI section.

It learns from what actually happened

When the assistant makes a change, Cartisto tracks the outcome over a real observation window and turns repeated results into plain-language lessons (“coupons in this discount band recurred with this result”). Two guardrails keep that honest: a lesson reports a count, a metric, and a window — it never claims a cause — and it can warn you when a new proposal resembles something that previously underperformed, without ever blocking you.

Note

Everything is permissioned and audited The assistant can only touch areas the operator running it is allowed to, its actions are recorded in the audit log like any staff action, and approvals are attributed to the person who granted them. Grant the AI assistant permission only to staff who should use it — see Staff & roles.
